On the 4^th we all ventured out to our local parade, where we saw none other than our lovely friends from KCRF. The girls were very excited to get a little taste of faire in the off season. I just uploaded the pics in my July4 gallery. I took some, my hubby too some.  Enjoy.

Like you all didn't know this from my last blog! HA!

Incase anyone has been wondering where I have been lately, I will explain....

It all started with a trip to my friend Robin's house. We were tired after a long day of faire and model shows and we were just hanging out watching the kids play when we decided to go downstairs and play the Wii (I want one of those! They are so fun!) So the guys were playing Guitar Hero and I decided to try. That one song I played has now gotten me hooked!

A few weekends later, my husband went out and bought a guitar and the first Guitar Hero game for our PS2. I had it one week and I had completed the game twice. Once on easy and once on medium. Amazon had guitar hero 2 on sale so I grabbed it. I have had that game 1 week and I have completed it on medium. I can't stop playing this darn game! I haven't sewed, I haven't blogged, I haven't done anything but come home from work, make dinner, watch the news and play guitar hero. So if you can’t find me…. I am busy rocking out with my video game….

Well we had a great trip to Omaha, We visited the faire, many awards were won at the Model show, and we had a great time visiting with our dear friends (robin & family).  I am still loading pics from the faire, they should be up shortly.  The wee pirates had a grand time. enjoy 

I must say that I am lucky to know so many talented people!  The purple pirate is wearing MY pouch that Aiddan created! I LOVE IT! And the hats were made by Clay at Pyrate Leatherworks! Aren't they fantastic!?!

I am still here, just sewing like a mad woman!   We are venturing to Omaha this weekend and visiting the Midwest Renfest on Saturday.  I am desperately trying to get some pirate garb done.  The wee ones is almost done,  but I am not seeing any hope for mine.  I haven't totally given up yet, but I am darn close!  So if you see 3 pirates and a gypsy, you will know it is me and I didn't get my pirate garb done yet. (BIG SIGH)
